Snapping Joy And Fun

Sponsored Advertorial

I am back with the second post on the Casio EX-TR150 compact camera! You should have heard and seen this camera being sold in the market at this point of time. Indeed, this is the camera for all camwhorers out there who loves taking photos of themselves.

Like seriously, why bother getting a DSLR to camwhore? It's such a chore carrying such a heavy camera and trying to snap a photo of yourself. Casio is innovative enough to come up with this compact camera which not only looks sleek and chic, but it's functions is also commendable!

Look at all the available functions that is available to us in this small sized camera! Personally, I like the Make-up mode, motion shutter and the decorative functions! Yes you see it correctly, this camera actually allows you to decorate your photos on the spot, how amazing it is!

So let me introduce you to the very first highlight of this camera, the Make-up mode!
The TR150, is actually an improved version of the TR100 previously and of course, being an IMPROVED version, it must also include some new functions. Thus, Casio was innovative and smart enough to include the make-up mode, which was previously not found in the TR100, into the TR150!

Sometimes, putting on make up before heading out can be quite a chore. We all know how much time is needed for a girl to actually sit in front of the mirror and putting on foundation, concealer etc on before leaving the house. It's too much of a hassle.

The make-up mode is now here to save you! Even with very minimal make up, you can look great and loveable in photos now too! Bonus to male users, because we don't even put make up (most of us) and now you can look great with near to flawless face in pictures!

The make-up mode actually consists of 12 levels! This means that you are given the option to choose how much "make-up" do you wanna "apply" onto your face when you take the pictures! This means that despite the function being used, you still can look natural as it is while using the make-up mode! THUMBS UP!

Now let's have some comparison of using the make-up mode and without using it!

This is a photo of me when I just woke up! Without using the make-up mode!

And after using the make-up mode, this is how flawless your face can look like!

Do I look like a small boy boy here? HAHA!

Even as a guy, I totally love this mode! It simply makes you so happy seeing that you have near to flawless face in pictures! Yes living in denial I am, but who don't want to look good in photos! So now girls, you all can be relieved of any worries now should you have minimal or no make up on when you go out, and you want to take photos!

Well, for every single thing there are pros and cons, so here is my evaluation of the make-up mode!

1) Is there any need to explain?! You get to have perfect photos being snapped of yourself!
2) There are 12 levels for you to select, which allows you to make your photo look as natural as possible!

1) It somehow only serves as applying "foundation" on your face, but when you have very big zits or pimples on your face, it can hardly "conceal" it.

Moving on, the EX-TR150 comes with a stylus as well. Here I am gonna show you the next amazing function of this camera, which is to combine two or more photos into one! So here I have taken two photos:

Now, I will combine the two photos together! And what's more attractive is that, it is as easy as 123 and ABC, just watch how the magic is done:

First, just go to the MENU page, and the screen will appear to be like the image above.
Then, select on "cut out object', then choose the image which you want to cut out.

In my case, I've chosen the Winnie The Pooh to be cut out:

Using the stylus, outline the image which you want to be cropped out.

Hee hee! I've managed to cut out the perfect Winnie the Pooh out from its original image :)

Next, what you want to do is to paste the subject onto another desired picture which we've taken.

SEE! The two images are together and now all you have to do is to place it at an ideal location. The size of the image being paste on can also be adjusted using the "+" and "-" at the top right hand corner.

And here is the final image being produced after editing on the camera itself:

I'm really really blown away, not that I want to boast about it! But the result is amazing right?!

1) You can have fun experimenting around, trying to combine pictures together!

1) The outlining of the object to be cut out can be a relatively tedious process because at times, you might cut off the image itself, thus resulting in a deformed subject.

Last but not least, there is also the "neoprint mode" I would call it! You can now decorate your photos on the spot with the in built images such as hearts or even snowflakes. Your pictures can now look cute too as though it's taken from the neoprint machine!

Take a look at the image above! Using the same Winne the Pooh image, I've managed to decorate it with heart designs! Doesn't it look lovely? Have fun experimenting!

Isn't this a very great camera?! I mean given the fact that it is a compact camera, yet it serves so many amazing functions! Camwhoring never seems so much easier and filled with so much fun now! So do head down to any available camera outlets and try to play around with it!
