FOOD PORN!

Wooo! Been quite a while since I last update this space of mine, but two weeks or so has past and my life is filled with lots and lots of food! FOOD PORN that is, haha! I think I am going to turn fat very very soon, given the fact that I injured my backbone and I cannot really exercise. All the intake of food (yummy and sinful ones) is sure gonna add on to my body fats or calories!

But aiya, don't go and bother too much shouldn't be a big issue hee hee :p Living in self-denial much.

Last Saturday, one of my friend brought me to a tiny coffee shop, with only 2 stalls. One stall selling lor mee and prawn noodles, and the other selling drinks. But guess what, it was real crowded and the food was freaking nice! Each bowl of prawn noodles is only $2.50 each and the soup is so thick and yummy!

It is located somewhere near Tiong Bahru, and me not being a fan of lor mee actually love theirs as well! Will try to get the address and update here again should I find out :) What I really like about the place is the whole atmosphere, it actually has the olden day's coffee shop kinda feel. Makes dining there filled with tinge of traditional sprinkles!

Right after that, we hit the town!!! And you all should know how freaking hot and temperamental the weather is in Singapore, actually it feels worst than in Tekong! So we need some chilling from time to time and we landed ourselves in Starbucks~

Got a Grande Iced Blended Mocha and the sandwhich was free! Good deal! #BudgetKen max!

Right at night, I was given a treat to the Fish&Co. Glasshouse! Yum yum yum! It's really been a long long time since I last stepped into Fish&Co. and dine there. I used to work in the restaurant at the Tampines Outlet with like 8 other classmates right after our O Levels. It was really a good experience.

I guess the glasshouse has a really nice fining atmosphere because of the decorations and there is also a live band singing for you!

New York Fish and Chips!!!! ADD LOTS OF LEMON BUTTER SAUCE!

Jungle Freeze! The humongous cup of ice blended beverage!!!!

Last Sunday before booking in I went to Bugis and went praying as well at the temple! Right outside the temple there are always all these carts selling ice cream. I love these traditional kind of, chocolate and atap seed ice cream with cone~ Yummy and it's only $1 okay!!!

Headed to Bugis Junction's TheFaceShop and got quite a number of stuffs, will blogged about my hauls in another blog post, another day bah. And after that, cousin Linda came and meet us and we went for lunch at KAZOKUTE.

Personally I think this restaurant serves relatively nice food and the servings are quite big, yet the price are so reasonable!

Look at this combo set! It's only like $12.90!!! And being a guy I can hardly finish it! Worth it right?!

All time favorite lemon and strawberry marshmallows from MUJI

Just 2 days back, I went for physio session at Singapore General Hospital and right after that my mum and I headed down to Orchard ION to have some tea session! Of course, what's more worth our visit thatn TWG eh?

What I really like about TWG is also the atmosphere. I guess whenever we dine in a location, the whole environment actually plays a very big part in affecting the diner's mood. And TWG actually gives you the very atas feel eh! And all the utensils and teapot are so exquisite! Feel like a taitai sitting inside having tea and chit chatting away haha!

It's just real relaxing, seriously. Not cos of the atasness, ok part of it is because of that haha.

Our Royal Set with a pot of Moonlit Night Tea for $35 :)

These smoked salmon sandwhich are da bomb! Taste so nice and yummy!

Went to TAKA to grab quite a number of books (YES AGAIN!) at Kinokuniya. Been reading lots of books since I enlisted into army, I've no idea why but I just love reading. Especially these series of books known as the penguin series (as shown above). It actually has lots of different classics, as well as science genre kind of books. Will touch on that on another post as promised.

Once again, Starbucks while waiting for daddy to come and fetch mummy and I haha, and we had Dark Mocha Java Chips!

And yesterday, Rino, Ruchin and I headed down to town and before watching Madagascar, we had an early dinner at MARCHE! Ruchin was so freaking hungry, but Rino and I keep shopping around, taking our own time in H&M and trying on the clothes. Haha, luckily she didn't faint.

Guess what I'm gonna say? YES! The atmosphere and the way the restaurant is being operated is what I love about the place! I still remember the first time I went to Marche was the outlet at Suntec (which has already closed down) back in 2004. That was quite long ago, and everything back then was still as relaxing as now. Talk about consistency people!

The delicious pastries which we keep wanting to eat but right after the meal, we were too full for it!

The Fried Calamaries we shared! These are hell good, I swear!!! So crispy and not too oily! Must try!!!!!

Got a medium plate and we tried stuffing lots of vegetable, mainly potatoes and mushrooms on it haha!

The sirloin steak which wasn't up to our expectation, but reasonable price so I guess it balance out LOL

Just look at the amount of sinful food that I've been indulging in!!! HAHA must quickly recover from my back injury and quickly work out already. Now I don't really want to talk about army because it's quite unlucky of me to get injured and unable to achieve my goal when I first stepped or before I stepped into Tekong...

But at least army taught me something ---> The ugliness of humanity.

Till then for my next post!
